Sauces absolutely excellent - will definitely buy again. Only downside is that the chicken dish we tried was entirely made with breast meat - the least interesting bit of the bird. Curries would be far tastier if made with the thighs. Some bones would also be good.
It does what it says in the title. This is the best Indian food I have tasted outside of sitting in an Indian restaurant. The meals have been very well thought out and the packing is fantastic. The delivery was agreed to within an hour. Ten minutes from freezer to sitting down to eat

Really delicious and authentic tasting meals which are a league above anything ready made I've ever tasted.
I did wonder when initially ordering just how a frozen meal was going to last over a 24hr delivery. I quickly realised when unpacking and trying to avoid frostbite on my fingers, the dry ice worked superbly! These will be a regular order for me now a couple of times per month.
The Royal briyani was spot on! The prawn curry and Aubergine curry are both favourites of mine!
I'm a disabled pensioner and can't eat a lot so the combo meals come in very handy. The larger ones I share with my carer. So thank you Chef Akila 💕

I really love these curries. They are a generous sized portions, not too spicy but very tasty.

Chef Akila is Indian food at its very best . Quality ingredients cooked to perfection . When I first ordered from them I was a little wary about delivery - about what it would be like etc but believe me it was wonderful . If I have friends around it’s just so so good so I order a bit more for me to have on another day !
