The love is poured into the dishes!

Who would've thought it was possible to create such amazing authentic Indian food and deliver it frozen…? It has to be tasted to be believed (!) but I gather the freezing process is done so quickly that the flavours are all locked in (and, of course, the brilliant packaging keeps them frozen solid as they make their journey to your home). The nearest supermarket rival to Chef Akila in my experience is M&S... but their curries don’t even come close! The small batch traditional cooking of Akila’s dishes makes them impossible to rival. It’s a tremendously varied menu too; so many flavours to choose from. And if you’re well-organised in your own kitchen, you really can do ‘freezer to fork’ in 10 minutes! I’m a local parish priest, and these dishes literally are a God-send when returning to the vicarage after a late evening - so thank you, Lord, for Chef Akila and her family! In the end, I think it’s the love poured into the food that makes it so special.

Great order, delicious food, excellent delivery service.

Great order. This was our second, so we are trying out different curries to establish which are our favourites. I have already recommended you to several friends. Every one has been lovely, but some absolutely delicious. We love the lamb and dishes, especially. We serve them with riced cauliflower as we are eating low-carb, and delighted that the lack of ultra- processed ingredients and seed oils, are ideal for our health needs.
